Measure Your Original Frame (Not your mat)
Measure the diameter of your trampoline's steel frame. Make sure you are measuring directly across the center of the trampoline. Do not measure your trampoline mat since mats stretch and warp over time, giving inaccurate readings. To be more accurate, try measuring from 3 different angles.
Count the V-Rings on Your Original Mat
Count the total numbers of v-rings on your trampoline mat. You should have the same number of v-rings as you have springs. Make sure to account for any missing springs or v-rings. For a more accurate reading, double or triple check your counts as this is a common error.
Measure Your Springs from Tip to Tip
Take a spring completely off your trampoline and measure the length of your spring from hook-end to hook-end. Do not measure the spring while it is attached to the trampoline. Be aware that older springs may be slightly stretched out giving inaccurate readings. To get a more accurate measurement, try measuring 3 or more springs.
